So, having seen from the start of the bible to the end, the goodness and the abundance of God, how has the word of God impacted you?. Perhaps you have had some knowledge of the goodness of God and the scriptures have strengthened and confirmed that knowledge as you read through the rest of the book may you grow in your knowledge of the goodness of God. Perhaps you have had a hard time accepting the goodness of God and have been taught that to be Godly you had to be poor \u2013 the word of God may have challenged and illuminated your thinking. The word of God unfolds his character and nature and as we believe and accept the word of God regarding his abundance and kindness we shall develop a trust and an assurance of his goodness.<\/p>\n
The book of Hebrews is a book of contrasts showing the difference between relating to God under the Old Covenant and under the New Covenant and the boldness and confidence we can have in prayer as we approach the throne of grace. Below are some scriptures which relate to approaching God in prayer and fellowship \u2013 notice how the word CONFIDENCE is used.<\/p>\n
Hebrews 4:16 \u2018Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need\u2019<\/p>\n
Hebrews 10:19 \u2018 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith\u2019<\/p>\n
Other scriptures relating to approaching God in prayer contain this word CONFIDENCE.<\/p>\n
\u2018In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence\u2019 Ephesians 3:12<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
1 John 3:21 \u2018Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask\u2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
1 John 5:14 \u2018This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Do you feel can you approach God with boldness and confidence in the area of your finances \u2013 believing and trusting that his abundance will come into your life? Sadly, people view God as someone who is hard to approach and unwilling to bless, who wants his children to stay \u2018poor and humble\u2019 \u2013 consequently, they have little confidence in approaching God. Through a knowledge of what the bible says concerning the goodness of God, his children can become fully persuaded of his goodness and can approach him with confidence and trust that he will meet their need and give them abundance on top.<\/p>\n
Spending time in the bible can release untold blessings into our lives as the bible reveals the true nature and character of God and as our opinion of him is changed into what the bible says about him, we can relax in his goodness. Many of us have no problem approaching our earthly Fathers when we have a need or a problem \u2013 how much more should this be the case with our heavenly Father. Perhaps, as you read this book you are in desperate financial need and you need to see a dramatic intervention of God in your finances \u2013 do you believe that God is willing and able to do this? are you persuaded and assured of his goodness towards you?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s hard to be bold and confident in approaching God in the area of your finances if you do not believe that it is his desire to work a miracle in your finances it\u2019s hard to trust someone that you either don\u2019t know very well or don\u2019t really believe they want to help you. Having seen throughout the bible the abundance of God, why not approach him now, with a sincere heart and a faith that has been fully assured of his goodness towards you. Allow the light of the word of God shine in your heart and be fully persuaded of his goodness.<\/p>\n
The bible says that God will meet all our needs:<\/p>\n
\nPsalm 23:1 \u2018The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want\u2019<\/p>\n

Psalm 34:9 \u2018Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing\u2019<\/p>\n

Psalm 84:11 \u2018The Lord bestows favour and honour no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
God will provide all things necessary for life (including finances) to his children:<\/p>\n
\n2 Peter 1:3 \u2018His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness\u2019<\/p>\n

Romans 8:32 \u2018He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all \u2013 how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The bible says that we will be overwhelmed by his blessings and the blessings of God will literally seek us out and hunt us down until they find us! . Notice that bible says that the blessings will seek us out \u2013 it does not say we should seek the blessings too many Christians are seeking the blessings of God instead of seeking God himself!. Seek hard after God alone and his blessings will seek hard after you.<\/p>\n
\nDeuteronomy 28:2 \u2018All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God\u2019<\/p>\n

Psalm 23:6 \u2018Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life\u2019<\/p>\n

Malachi 3:10 \u2018 See if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Finally, for those who persevere, they will have an excess of money to invest in the work of God.<\/p>\n
\n2 Corinthians 9:8 \u2018God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work\u2019<\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 9:11 \u2018You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Jesus said in Luke 12:32 \u2018Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom\u2019 and the Psalmist says in Psalm 35:27 \u2018The Lord be exalted, who delights in the well being of his servant\u2019. Since God is well pleased to bless and prosper us, shall we not relax in that fact and believe that his goodness will enter our life.<\/p>\n
