Michael Singini, Malawi says transport here is paralysed, filling stations are empty while unscrupulous people sell a few litres diesel diluted with paraffin for over double the usual price. Prices in shops have trebled and people are now in dire poverty. I now live on one meal a day, yet the mission is still to finish the village clinic but I cannot hire even one lorry to bring materials.

Josh Billings says in hard times consider the postage stamp: its usefulness is the ability to stick to one thing till it gets there.
